July's ward meeting

The next Kilburn Ward meeting will take place on Thursday 6th July, at 7pm, in Community Careers office in William Dunbar House, Albert Rd, South Kilburn, (near Queen’s Park tube), (map).

Agenda
1 Apologies for absence
2 Branch news
3 Council news
4 Any other business

The meeting will be followed at 8pm by joint branch discussion and social in The Community Resource Centre, South Kilburn Housing Office, Albert Road (use entrance on left side). The topic of the discussion will be housing, and the speaker will be Lesley Carty of Templar House residents association, Shoot Up Hill, who is also involved with the Defend Council Housing campaign.

This debate will be held jointly with Queen’s Park and Brondesbury branches (who will hold their branch meeting at the venue beforehand), although all Labour Party members in the new Hampstead and Kilburn constituency are welcome. It will be followed by a social event including refreshments.

(Branch meetings are normally held on the first Thursday of each month (except August). GC meetings -- which any member is entitled to attend and speak at, though only official branch delegates may vote -- are at the Kingsgate Centre on the fourth Thursday of the month (except August). Contact Dan Judelson for further details.)
